Mr. S. Vaikundarajan, owner of VV Minerals, Mining is all set to become world leaders in the heavy mineral mining industry. They conduct beach sand mining of minerals like garnet, zircon, rutile and ilmenite. They have been one of the first private companies in India to start exporting such minerals commercially to other nations. Established in 1989, they have now become a global super power in this industry. Nonetheless, they now aim to be the best all over the world.
VV Mineral, Vaikundarajan have received innumerous awards and accolades in the export business. The Industry in Tamil Nadu is right now at a standstill, because of the illegal sand mining activities conducted by a few private miners. Initially, even VV Mineral was alleged in this scam but after the investigations were conducted and concluded they were given the green chit from the central government, as their involvement in the scam was proven a hoax.
