VV Mineral, Vaikundarajan is engaged in mining, manufacturing, and exporting heavy minerals like garnet, ilmenite, rutile, and zircon. these products are used in various applications, including sand blasting, water jet cutting, water filtration, surface preparation, and other applications; and paint and plastics industries, the paper industry, welding electrodes, processing of graded steel, photo grey sun glasses, titanium metal preparation, coatings and lining for blast furnace hearth, aerospace, nuclear powered submarine, sport and medicine, water purification, cosmetics products, and drilling liquid manufacturing applications.

It serves customers in Europe, the Middle East, East Asia, Australia, and the United States. The company was founded in 1989 and is based in Tisaiyanvilai, India.

S. Vaikundarajan Not Under Scanner Any More For Illegal Mining Scam

Mr. S. Vaikundarajan, chairman of VV Minerals which was under scanner for illegal mining to the tune of Rs 96 crore is now declared innocent.

Recently there have been a couple of reports that are inferring that the mining ban implemented in Tamil Nadu for heavy mineral mining may be uplifted in the next month. The ban was put into action last year in August when there were allegations put up against certain private heavy mineral mining companies for mining of wrong minerals.

VV Minerals accused in the illegal sand mining is proven innocent.  Mr. S. Vaikundarajan, the owner of VV Minerals, India, was alleged in a beach mineral mining scam in August last year. However, after a detailed investigation by the Indian Bureau of Mines which is a part of the Ministry of Mines it was found that VV Minerals the largest mining manufacturer and exporter of garnet and ilmenite were innocent. The company’s top management includes Mr. Jegatheesan, Mr. J Muthurajan, and Mr. V Subramanian.

The video footage provided below is the revelation of how VV Minerals, India was tricked into a scam they were never a part of. According to the footage, the main person responsible for this entire misunderstanding was Mr. Daya Devdas. The video clearly shows how a group of men who have planned the conspiracy against VV Minerals, India, only because of the envious nature of one man, i.e. V Sundaram.

The privately owned heavy mineral mining company owned by Mr. S. Vaikundarajan, has been swindled into a illegal heavy mineral mining scam that they never did.

The other members who were tricked into it were the brothers and managing directors of the company, namely, Mr. Jegatheesan and Mr. J. Muthurajan.

Free Books Distribution Camp On World Day Against Child Labour By V. V. Minerals

World Day Against Child Labour
On June 12, 2014, which is celebrated as World Day against Child Labour, VV Minerals, India owned by Mr. S. Vaikundarajan carried out an initiative to benefit poor school children and workers family living in the area by giving them free notebooks. In order to improve the quality of education of the society and community the management of VV Minerals held camps of free books distribution at various establishments of the company.

The ‘Education for all’ campaign that they called it was held at Tuticorin, Thirunveli, Kanyakumari, Peramabalur and Trichy districts in Tamil Nadu. All the nearby schools were given free notebooks, with a total number of 25000 books distributed overall.

This initiative encompasses more than 200 schools in and around the five districts. In addition, the endeavour is aimed at providing easy access to learning and enlightenment to the poor and needy students who can’t afford to buy notebooks and right to free education is a dream.

Speaking about VVM’s efforts to empower the school students and create a sustainable educated environment around their community, Mr. Vaikundarajan, Founder Chairman & Managing Director – V V Group of Companies, said: “On World Day Against Child Labour, we are a staunch supporter of rights of child and are against any form of child labour. This is just a small step forward to bring smiles in the lives of school students in various locations as a socially responsible company.  We are fully committed to fostering a favourable environment around our workplace and make it a better place by enriching the lives of school kids in a sustained manner. Going forward, we also plan to open up Library cum learning centre in primary schools in a phased manner.”
